I have six years of experience with digital collections covering every aspect of digital project development, from initial proposals to completed projects. Currently, I act as Project Manager for the Arcadia Fund Digitization Projects and am Instructional Technologist for the Visual Resources Collection (VRC) at Yale University Library. Prior to working at Yale, I served as Digitization Manager for the Semyon Fridlyand Archive at the University of Denver. This project was an intensive, one-year, donor-funded initiative to create a publicly accessible digital collection of the work of Semyon Fridlyand, a prominent Soviet Jewish photojournalist. I started my library career at Northwestern University Library working on digital reformatting of images, audio, and video while getting my MLS. I also am a moviemaker in my outside life and so artist/scholar/technology projects are also near and dear to my heart.
