I am a 3rd year PhD student in Communications at Columbia. My research focuses on telecommunications in low-income countries, especially India and East Africa. My field work will involve ethnography in Mumbai and Kochi, Kerala in 2012-13. I am Canadian, and lived in Australia, Mexico, and the UK before moving to New York.
