Carla Hoetink active right now

Born on the last day of 1980, currently lecturer in Political History and junior researcher, both at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. My main interest is the culture of (Dutch and European) politics. My first experience with medium large data sets has been a study on unparliamentary language, resulting in a book (2006, with Peter Bootsma). I am finishing a doctoral thesis on the workings of Dutch parliament after WOII, its culture, formal rules and daily practice. June 2014 I will present a paper for a Finish conference on the value of digitalized parliamentary records. I hope to accentuate my views at THATcamp.
