As a PhD student in history, my experience with technology has been relegated largely to text software and word processors. I have built numerous personal computers, but tend to shy away from software as a terrifying ogre. I am currently working on Arab-American migration networks and identity formation, and in my spare time attempt to make a number of my aquariums as self-sustaining as possible.
