I was an undergraduate English major in the dim and distant past, so I have a strong background in the humanities. Ever since library school (also back in the dim and distant past) I've been interested in technology. Since 1996, I've written a quarterly column, Tech Talk, for the Library Instruction Round Table Newsletter (http://www.ala.org/lirt/lirt-news-archives) in which I talk about current library technology issues that should be of interest to instruction librarians.
