My name is Bastian Heinsohn. I am an Assistant Professor at Bucknell University. I am teaching German language and culture courses as well as courses in Film Studies. I am very interested in representation of cities in film and literature. I have been using technology in the classroom, but I feel that I could further enhance my knowledge how to best use digital media in my teaching. I see urban space and space in general as "constructed" and follow here what Henri Lefebvre, David Harvey, Edward Soja, and (to a degree) Marc Augé have formulated in their treatments of space. I would like to attend the unconference day on Saturday.
