I am a film and video editor interested in the convergence of film, technology, and new economies. I've been making a living as an editor on films/commercials/documentaries since graduating from the University of Chicago where I completed a major called Fundamentals: Issues & Texts. I went into film editing with the core values of a humanities degree, often approaching my work as an academic writes a paper or article. After living in New York for eight years, I relocated to Berkeley, CA with my partner who studies at UC Berkeley (PhD candidate at Haas). I am now exploring career options that approach audio/visual creation in conjunction with academic and/or experimental pursuits.
