Currently I work as an eLearning content developer for the Centre of Technology-Enhanced Learning at King's College London. For this position, I advise on, design, develop and evaluate resources (and associated workshops) to meet the needs of the Centre and its work on formal/informal College-wide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. I work with college teams on funded technology-enhanced learning projects. Furthermore, I provide educational advice, guidance, encouragement and support on the use of technology to staff involved in teaching and assessment activities. Finally I project manage discreet activities in support of the College's TEL strategy involving diverse stakeholders including students. I have a PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece on the subject of "3D Virtual Environments for Collaborative Learning". I also hold an MSc from the same institution on "ICT in Education". In the past I have worked as an administrator and developer on a Moodle-based LMS and as a Research Associate for the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC). I haven't read any Nicholas Carr but I really like reading gothic horror novels from authors like H.P. Lovecraft!
