My bachelor's degree is in fine arts (sculpture/installation) and my master's is in philosophy (aesthetics/ethics). My research interest lies in perception, assumptions, and life philosophies. I started taking oral history courses and workshops a few years ago because of my interest in pursuing an interdisciplinary approach to recording, documenting, and presenting thoughts and ideas that guide individuals. How similar are our perceptions? How accurate is our knowledge of the world around us? Does this matter? These are only a few of the questions I am pursuing to better understand individual and group realities that coexist in our rapidly changing consciousness today.
