My name is Allyn Lueders and I am a PhD candidate in Communication Studies at the University of Kansas. My main interests are computer-mediated communication and interpersonal communication. These interests have led me to working on multiple projects concerning relationships and communication on online communities. I am interested in how communication technologies have changed the ways that interpersonal relationships are done. My dissertation will focus on communities formed through pro-anorexia sites and anorexia recovery sites, and relationships created therein.
