Professionally I'm an historian and curator. I've returned to academia after a nice, long break, as the time seemed right to unite my dissertation topic with the digital humanities. I spend a lot of time studying the Holocaust, museums and why we collect things, and issues that museums and collecting institutions face, like repatriation, restitution, and skeletons in the closet. I personally collect bricks and know a lot about candy.
