My dissertation is on nothingness in seventeenth-century literature and science, and I'm interested in the kind of world-building that texts and games do; I'm working on a conference paper about intersections between theatre and visual novels / IF at the moment. Other than that, I played Dante's Inferno on the PS3 because I thought it was my professional duty as a grad student and still haven't finished it because it wasn't that great. I'm holding out for a Faerie Queene game because that would be seriously epic, no pun intended.
