I am a historian of Modern Germany/Europe with growing interests in World History. I teach in all of these fields and research and write about cities, film, and waste. I am currently focused on a book project on Waste and Recycling in Nazi Germany and am working on a number of article projects on dumps and their technological alternatives in different parts of the world.
