Katharina Garvert-Huijnen is a historian and political scientist and a member of the DAAD-financed Graduate School at the Germany Institute of the University of Amterdam (DIA/UvA). She currently writes her PhD-thesis about the German-Dutch bilateral relation within the process of European Integration. In addition to her academic work, she likes to take part in the public debate on Twitter, via blogs, daily newspapers, journals or on the radio.
