I am an assistant professor of English at NC State University. My research focuses on eighteenth-century literature. My first project was on eighteenth-century poetry, poetic voice, and nation formation and empire, and worked with ideas of media shift and mediation. My second project is focused on English-language writing of India and the Indian Ocean world.
