My background is in computer science (undergraduate and now graduate). Somehow, the work I've been doing in the first term of my Masters degree has all tied into games, whether looking at design for games or taking design ideas from games. Academically, I'm most interested in "serious" or persuasive games. Otherwise, I'm mostly into boardgames - I can't remember how many people I've introduced to Settlers of Catan over the years. I also enjoy listening to game music remixes (it's the best background music for computer work, no question).
