I’m a digital/public historian specializing in the interpretation of cultural landscapes and sites of memory associated with African American, Southern, and Atlantic World history. At the University of Central Florida I teach a range of undergraduate courses (Viewing American History, History of the American South, History of the Interwar Years) that feature hands-on work with digital tools and web-based archives. At the graduate level I teach Digital Tools for Historians and History in the Digital Age.
