I'm a scholar of early American history but from an Atlantic perspective. Most recently, however, I've been involved in expanding our public history program at UCF and in thinking about the intersections of digital and public history. While I've spent a lot of time talking to people about these issues when dealing with the 20th century, I'd like to now think about them in regards to my own research on 17th and 18th century communication networks and migration.
