Richard is currently a Visiting Professor at Florida State University, College of Communication & Information. Prior to joining FSU, Richard was a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Library & Information Science at the University of Illinois, where he contributed to the development of the IMLS Digital Collections & Content project (http://imlsdcc.grainger.illinois.edu). His research focuses on metadata for cultural heritage institutions.
