I am a historian of science currently researching the 40th anniversary of the discovery of RNA splicing. I have published widely in the history of science funding, molecular life sciences, women & gender in science, and public memory. I am an independent scholar affiliated with Brandeis University. I am a long term HSS member, and won one of its prizes; I also served on the Osiris editorial board, 1995-2000.
