I am the Interim Chair of Foreign Languages and Associate Professor of German at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. My research investigates the intersections of visuality and disability in German dramatic comedies of the Long 19th century. I have designed, co-authored, and produced "Deutsch interaktiv"--a series of interactive textbooks for German language learners using American proficiency standards. I continue to seek out ways to harness technology to enhance my classroom and my research.
