I am a historian whose research is focused on the intersection of Jewish and Iberian history. I teach courses on European and Jewish history at Carnegie Mellon University I grew up between the Mediterranean coastal city of Tel-Aviv and New York City. I have also spent several years living and doing research in Madrid, Spain which has become a home to me. I have been living in Pittsburgh since 2003 with intermittent periods spent away on research grants at Oxford University, UK and the University of Pennsylvania in Philly.
