I come to digital humanities from a literature and publishing background rather than a technical one. Consider me reborn digital, rather than born digital. I'm interested in tools that allow me to make analytical thought processes - as well as the final analysis - visible. I'm interested in efficient and consistent data processing. And I'm interested in ways to make data processing fun (playing with my food). I consider myself a beginner but am willing to be pleasantly surprised about what I, in fact, do know.
