I'm an academic reference and instruction librarian at Central Piedmont Community College. I am embedded in several online classes and teach many one-shot research classes. I incorporate Web 2.0 technologies as well as practical advice into my lesson plans, online research guides, and learning activities. I'm interested in how things like marketing and outreach, oral history, and mentoring can intersect to better educate colleagues and students alike about navigating the good, bad, and ugly information bombarding us from all sides and mediums every day.
