I'm interested in the integration of digital and analog; of machine and hand-made. I make photo collages and music videos integrating both hand-processed techniques and cell-phone images. Professionally, I've been a working ontologist (and roles which satellite that work) for over fifteen years. Most recently, I was working on developing data architecture standards for NASA. Now, I'm working on developing a digitial file format registry (udfr.org) for national libraries and museums. My academic background is in philosophy (logic, semantics), linguistics and business.
