I'm a medievalist in an English Dept at NCSU, involved in several different digital projects (small and large scale), and I'm interested in digital extensions and enhancements of the material past. I work on digital editions (the Piers Plowman Electronic Archive) and on historical visualization (architectural reconstruction using Sketchup, for example.) I have a new project that attempts to reconstruct digitally the missing bits of medieval manuscripts using a combination of mathematical modeling and graphic design.
