Overseeing the Smithsonian Institution Archives Digital Services, I work with a team responsible for electronic records preservation and curation, digitization, web and new media, outreach and crowdsource community management. I love finding new ways for people to discover our rich collections and to contribute their own effort and/or knowledge to make them even richer. I'm a fledgling Wikipedian as part of how this passion expresses itself. I'm also deeply committed to investing in the next generation such as fellows, interns and most recently a National Digital Stewardship resident who was focused on ways to apply trustworthy digital repositories standards to time-based media art.
