I'm the Edgar F. Shannon Postdoctoral Fellow in the University of Virginia Department of English. I work on American Literature, modernism, poetry, and conceptual writing. I've begun to pursue a line of digital humanities research that grows out of my work with Artists' Books Online and with the HiPSTAS Institute, focused on the question of what digital humanists can do with image and sound files beyond metadata.
