Professor of History at UNC Asheville. Research has been in colonial/revolutionary/early national U.S. legal culture. I also teach a Digital History course, and for the past two spring semesters (2014 and 2015), I have co-taught a distance mentoring/digital humanities course "Century America," which examines community/campus experiences during World War I.
