I spent 5.5 years at Microsoft doing systems analysis and project management, as well as working for other companies in tech, which gave me a lot of opportunities to understand how important and central tech is to the present and future of life as we know it (barring meteors and zombie apocalypses). I am now teaching research and writing at VCU. I am a published creative writer, a tech geek when time permits, and a private investigator.
