Currently, I am a second year Ph.D. student at Morgan State University and TA. I have a Masters degree in US History from George Mason. After my undergraduate degree from Mississippi University for Women, I was a teacher in the Mississippi Delta. My current research and writing is US 19th-century black history and early American Jewish history. My outside interests are museums, bicycling, and gardens.
