At the moment I'm completing my last weeks as the IT Liaison to the Humanities at William & Mary, a position I've been in for about eight year. In it I've collaborated with faculty on research and teaching projects that are digital or somehow technology intensive. Starting this summer I'll be moving to the Digital Scholarship Lab at the University of Richmond where I'll be working on a textual visualization project and on the History Engine (http://douglass.vcdh.virginia.edu/historyengine/).

I'm also an historian of nineteenth-century America. My research focuses on antebellum reform movements.
