I help shape UVA's support for digital scholarship by running a Library department that includes the Scholars' Lab and an amazing R&D team for faculty projects. The SLab combines the services and resources of UVA's old GeoStat and Etext Centers.

I'm on the board of NINES, for which I designed Collex. (My doctorate is in English.)

I'm also unexpectedly going to Finland this summer and can't get that Monty Python song out of my head.
