I am just finishing up a two year tenure as a co-manager of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec (Canada) in addition to being a history PhD student.

My thesis, "From Boom to Bust to Tourism: Deindustrialized Miningscapes in Canada", examines three mining towns that turned to post industrial tourism as a means of sustaining themselves after their primary industrial industries became no longer viable.
