I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Dept. of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture at NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. I do research on the intersection between technology, environment, business, and consumerism. My PhD dissertation was on the sociotechnical infrastructures of empty beverage container handling; my 3-year postdoctoral project is on the Norwegian leisure cabin, or as I call it, the suburban wilderness. I guess my interest in digital history goes way back to when I coded cheesy adventure games for my Commodore 64 as an 11-year old... In more recent times, I have mostly worked with web sites for history projects (see http://www.miljohistorie.net/) for my latest project). I participated in the 2006 Doing Digital History workshop at CHNM and am currently working on a Norwegian-language article on how digital tools transform the historian's craft for the main Norwegian history journal.
