I work at the Jefferson Library at Monticello in Charlottesville, Va. I'm the Associate Foundation Librarian for Technical Services and am essentially responsible for access services, cataloging, and metadata projects for Monticello - The Home of Thomas Jefferson. I have a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2002) and have been at the Jefferson Library for over five and a half years. Prior to enrolling in library school, I spent ten years in the financial services and petroleum & petrochemical industries in various capacities. I love cooking, music, and gardening. I love learning about new things and new ideas. I especially enjoy learning about new technology and getting people excited about new tech applications that help us better understand the world we live in, and make better use of our scarce resources. I'm looking forward to being at THATCamp and learning from THATcampers!
