I work at the the Center for History and New Media on Omeka (omeka.org), and THATCamp is my baby. My own research explores the confluence of Information Technology and culture. Giant robots, historical gaming, computer-based pedagogy and Wegmans subs really get me going.

At THATCamp I hope to not only discuss how we can explore Omeka as an easy open source web publishing platform for the humanities, but share my thoughts on research methodologies for digital humanists. I'm particularly interested in a research approach which focuses on building online communities to become active participants in research questions. Check out my Omeka Hack Session idea.
