We’re on Twitter all day long, most days. Follow us at @thatcamp and we’ll automatically follow you back, which means that you can even direct-message (dm) us if you like. Once you’ve followed us and we’ve followed you back, this means that you can text us from your mobile phone by writing “D thatcamp [your message here]” to the number 4-0404.
Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
Download an IRC client application such as Trillian (Windows), Colloquy (Mac), or XChat (Linux) and use the following information to join an ongoing (if intermittent) THATCamp discussion:
Chat server: irc.freenode.net
Room: thatcamp
Instant Messaging
If you use Google Talk / Jabber to IM, you can add info@thatcamp.org as a Buddy and IM us.
Skype
Our Skype name is info.thatcamp. We’re not usually logged in to Skype by default (it takes up a lot of processing power), but if you use one of the above means to arrange a time to Skype with us, we’d enjoy that.
Phone
What is this, 1993?
We do sometimes talk on the phone, but we prefer to do so by appointment — you can arrange such an appointment using any of the communication methods above. You may also call the Center for History and New Media at 703-993-9277.
Fax
Yes, apparently this is indeed 1993. Nevertheless, we understand that sometimes faxes happen, and therefore we maintain such a device at the Center for History and Old New Media at 703-993-4585.
Mailing
We particularly appreciate getting posters and/or t-shirts from regional THATCamps; we’re developing a bit of an archive. Mail them or anything else to
